Scott Jarvis, CPA

Scott serves as Spiderwort’s Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience building and advising companies across diverse financial landscapes in both profit and not-for-profit sectors. As a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA, CPA), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Scott supports day-to-day operations, strategic growth, and business alignment initiatives. His background includes a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and leadership roles at Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and Brookfield Soundvest. Scott is actively involved in the Canadian technology innovation ecosystem and is a current member of the Audit and Financial Committee of Invest Ottawa, working with emerging start-ups and scale-ups to support financial strategy and growth.
